Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret: P&ID, General Arrangement Fabrication Isometric, Drawings WPS, PQR, and welding procedures. Pressure vessel, heat exchanger Structural Drawings Equipment Layout Drawings
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards and SOPs.
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, materials) for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness programs
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company safety requirements.
- Maintain safe operation of welding, lifting, grinding, and fabrication activities.
- Implement lean manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives practices.
- Maintain production documentation and generate reports on output, downtime, and efficiency.
- Attend with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on the shop floor.
- Train and mentor production staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Supervise fabrication activities including cutting, rolling, welding, NDT, and assembly.
- Coordinate stage-wise inspections with Quality and Customers.
- Monitor WPS/PQR/WPQ adherence and welding quality.
Preferred Skills
- Good knowledge of fabrication of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, skid packages, Piping Isometric Fabrication, P&ID Interpretation
- Detailed understanding of fabrication drawings.
- Welding Processes (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, SAW)
- NDT Requirements
- Hydro Testing & Pneumatic Testing
- Fabrication Shop Management
- Decent communication skills – verbal and written
- Ability to Work in Team
- Work in MS Office (outlook Word and Excel), Emails
- Work in SAP B1
